Buy SDS-PLUS bits are compatible with the Makita HR3210C 1-1/4

4.7 ft.lbs. of impact energy is delivered by the powerful 8.2 AMP motor, which can handle the most demanding applications.

When a counterweight is moved in the opposite direction of the drive piston, Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT) reduces vibration to a significant degree, resulting in improved user comfort and increased productivity.

An engineered torque limiting clutch is designed to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit becomes stuck in the clutch.

Control of the speed at all time. Automatically provides additional power to the motor to keep it running at a constant speed while under load, allowing it to complete the most difficult jobs.

Soft start reduces the amount of reaction time during startup, allowing for greater control and accuracy.

It’s tough on the concrete, but not on you. The HR3210C 1-1/4-Inch SDS-PLUS from Makita is a hard-hitting tool. The Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT), an exclusive counterbalance system that reduces vibration, allows the Rotary Hammer to be lighter while still delivering plenty of power. It produces more efficient hitting on the concrete and less vibration in the tool and the tool user as a result of these improvements.

In order to provide ample power, the HR3210C with AVT is equipped with an 8.2 AMP motor that operates at speeds ranging from 315 to 630 RPM and 1,650 to 3,300 BPM when not in use. The synchronized RPM and BPM prevent overlapping impacts, resulting in up to a 50% increase in overall drilling efficiency. In addition, the hammer has three modes of operation: “rotation only,” “hammering with rotation,” and “hammering only.” It also has a built-in torque limiter that ensures stable torque control and disengages the motor in the event that the bit becomes stuck or hits reinforcements. Furthermore, the electronic speed control reduces speed loss when working in high-volume applications, allowing for the highest possible productivity. There is also a variable speed dial on the HR3210C, with five settings to match the bit speed of the device to the application. In the event of a switch failure or cord breakage, an L.E.D. power light will illuminate, and a service light will illuminate when the carbon brushes need to be replaced. The HR3210C is constructed with large-diameter carbon brushes that can last up to twice as long as comparable competitor models.

Vibration is reduced as work is increased.

Among the many features of the HR3210C is AVT, Makita’s exclusive counterbalance system that reduces vibration, allowing for more effective hitting power. With a weight of 10.6 pounds and a straight side handle with rubberized grips as well as a large rubberized rear handle, the HR3210C provides a comfortable working environment. The recessed operation mode switch helps to keep it from getting damaged, and the one-touch sliding chuck makes it easy to change bits quickly.

Design that is adaptable to a variety of application.

It is a versatile and hard-hitting rotary hammer for masons, remodelers, electricians, plumbers, demolition contractors, and general contractors who are looking for a best-in-class industrial quality rotary hammer at an affordable price. The tool is capable of a wide range of tasks, including everything from breaking up tile floors to breaking up concrete. The HR3210C is just one more example of Makita’s dedication to cutting-edge technology and best-in-class engineering design and development.

Makita’s Anti-Vibration Technology is described below (AVT.

Makita Anti-Vibration Technology is a type of vibration reduction technology (AVT. With Makita’s Anti-Vibration Technology, the company has brought the science of earthquake engineering into the world of power tools (AVT). AVT is an exclusive innovative counterbalance design that provides the professional with a power tool solution that is up to three times less vibration, three times less noise, and three times more efficient in terms of power than its competitors. This damping science has been developed through seismic research in order to absorb shocks and protect buildings from the devastation caused by earthquake vibrations. As a result of the AVT dynamic damping technique, which involves reciprocating engineering, a mechanical damper, which is effectively a counterbalance weight, provides an equal and opposite anti-vibration force that places an equal mass directly opposite to where the striker bolt transfers the impact joules from the striker bolt to the breaker steel, carbide bit, or reciprocating saw blade. Due to the elimination of vibration, power can be increased in an efficient manner. Without the dissipation of power caused by vibration, more of the generated energy in the motor can be delivered to the tool bit itself, increasing productivity.

What’s Included in the Bo.

Makita HR3210C 1-1/4-Inch AVT Rotary Hammer with side handle, depth gauge, bit grease, and a plastic tool case (sold separately).

The Manufacturer’s Statemen.

In addition, Makita’s new Model HR3210C 1 14 inch AVT Rotary Hammer has a three-mode operation that allows it to be used for a variety of applications: hammering with rotation, hammering only, and rotation only. The work surface is illuminated by an L.E.D. light that is built in. It weighs only 10.6 pounds. With a powerful 13.5 amp motor that delivers 1,250 -2,750 blows per minute, this blower is a serious performer. Side handle, depth gauge, tool case, and grease are all included in the package.

A hammer drill with SDS technology, such as the Makita HR3201C, is useful for drilling into concrete and chiseling out small openings. I’ve used it with bits ranging from 1 inch in diameter to 2 inches in diameter. If you drill through rebar with a standard drill bit, your progress will be halted. Although special bits are available for cutting through rebar, I haven’t tried them yet. This tool is not effective for breaking up concrete slabs in their entirety. (There is no SDS type tool that can be used in the same way as a jackhammer. Aside from bathroom walls made of ceramic tile applied over wire mesh with thinset cement, I’ve also used the tool to demolish walls made of concrete block.

The HR3201C hammer drill has a slightly higher power rating than the current model of the Bosch Bulldog SDS hammer drill, in my opinion. I, on the other hand, prefer to employ the Bulldog. Because it weighs less and is easier to maneuver in confined spaces, the Bulldog is less exhausting to operate. The Bulldog is equipped with a safety feature that prevents the tool from twisting unexpectedly if the bit becomes stuck while drilling at full throttle. This feature is not available on the HR3201C.

The HR3201C’s primary flaw is that the front of the tool is held in place by a single screw, which makes it difficult to use. After extensive use, the screw became loose and fell to the ground. The tool’s nose and front cover came loose, exposing the blade. There were no exact replacements for the screw available at any of the local hardware stores. Given that the screw goes into plastic, you could try forcing in another screw and allowing it to cut its own threads, but I’m not sure it would be any more secure. Sellers of tool parts can provide you with the exact replacement screw you require. (I placed an order for it about a month ago, but it has not yet arrived..

The HR3201C is supplied with a tube of grease, which is used to lubricate the shaft of the SDS bits during use. The rubber tip of the tool is slightly deteriorated as a result of the grease. When changing bits, you’ll find yourself dealing with a sloppy black coating of grease. The Bosch Bulldog recommends lubricating the bits with a light oil. Changes to the Bulldog’s parts are a much more organized process.
