We are restoring a brick house that is more than 100 years old. We chose this media (in conjunction with the Campbell Hausfiled Sand Blaster) to remove paint around the old glass in the wooden windows in the hopes of not marring, pitting, or breaking the more than 100 glass panes in the process (the wavy and bubbling hand poured glass). It was a long and labor-intensive process that had to be repeated several times, but the media delivered on its promise and removed approximately 80-99 percent of the layers of old paint, including oil-based paints. I simply used a stripper to get rid of the tough areas that the media couldn’t get rid of. I contacted the manufacturer, and they were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. They even went so far as to conduct spot checks on employees’ performance.

We also used the media on our stained cedar cabin in Michigan, which was built in the early 1900s. The media is specifically designed for cedar, and the results were remarkable in that they restored the cedar and pine to a nearly-original state while bringing out the integrity and freshness of the wood.

Despite the fact that there was a lot of corncob residue, we simply raked it up and shop-vaced it into contractor’s bags, leaving the rest as mulch.

An extremely versatile product that delivered on its promise. Cost is reasonable. Shipping was extremely fast.
