I bought a couple of these kits for my friends. The first one only lasted a few hours, despite the fact that I put a lot of pressure on it, and the rubber dimples simply wore out, resulting in the sandpaper falling off the pad.
In the second case, it also lasted about a day, and due to heat, the sanding pad rubber pad came off, despite the fact that I was much gentler with it and attempted to extend its life by applying less pressure while sanding.
Other reviews had mentioned something similar to my own, and I decided to look into it further.
These were purchased due to their size, which was ideal for the job I needed to complete, which involved sanding narrow areas that needed to be sanded. Unfortunately, the rubber pads did not hold up to prolonged use. I have not been able to find a product of higher quality for this small tool at a lower price.
