There is more speed in the Drywall Screw Gun than there is in the DW272 Corded Screwgun. The Drywall Screw Gun can do up to 4,400 RPM.

DEWALT made the brushless motor for the DEWALT drywall screw gun to be efficient and last a long time.

No part of the drywall gun is stuck in place and can be easily removed while the screw depth stays the same.

It can be used with the DCF6201 Collated Magazine Attachment.

With the LED Style:Drywall ScrewGun, you can work in dark places and make it easier to see.

Uses the same battery and charger as other 20V MAX* tools. The 20V MAX* XR Brushless Drywall Screwgun is a cordless tool that can be used to put up drywall without having to plug in. There’s more speed in this cordless screwgun than in the DW272 corded screwgun. It can go up to 4,400 RPM. The nose cone is very secure and can be set to three different screw depths. When you want to drive screws faster, use the DCF6201 Collated Magazine Attachment with this screwgun and it will work better.

The gun itself is great. Most of the time I buy Hilti tools, but I was broke at the time, and this one was less than half the price. Even with five-amp batteries, it’s only half the weight of a Hilti and is just as fast as one. As long as you have the batteries that come with this, it doesn’t weigh a whole lot. They lasted about 4 months of very heavy use before they stopped being able to charge fully. I don’t know how long these 5 amp batteries will last, but I hope they last longer than four months. All in all, I’d say it’s a good alternative to Hilti and a good value for your money.
