My review of this vacuum cleaner is going to be a five-star one. As well as outside, I’ve used it to clean up leaves on my carpeted stairs and outside. The vacuum cleaner did better than expected in both of the situations it was used in. I’ve read a lot of Amazon reviews about this product, and it doesn’t seem to be very well-liked when it comes out of the box. People also say that the wheels fall off a lot. My goal is to clear up a few of the reviews that aren’t clear.

Let’s start with the easy one. The casters slide on the bottom of the chassis and move. Vacmaster gives you screws to keep the casters in place. People who say the casters fell off because they didn’t use the screws to keep them in place.

As for how well it works right away. At first, when I plugged the vacuum in and turned it on, it worked great. After about 5 minutes, it turned itself off and went away. Some of the reviews I read said that the things they bought didn’t work well. After a lot of troubleshooting, I found out that the vacuum had tripped a breaker. Until I realized that I had plugged it into an outlet that was running off of a #15 breaker, I thought it was weird that I had done thi. If this is true, then most of the bad reviews the product got were because they didn’t like it. I think this vacuum should be plugged into a kitchen outlet. There are usually a lot of #20 or higher breakers in kitchens because they are used to run things that need electricity. As soon as I connected it to a kitchen outlet that had a #20 breaker, the thing worked like a charm. When I was vacuuming, it had a lot of power. When I was blowing leaves, it worked very well in my small back yard.

That being said, you’ll need an extension cord to plug in all of your things. In my case, that’s a big deal because most of the breakers in my house are #15s. I have only used the unit three times, so I can’t say for sure how long it will last. With a two-year warranty, I’m not too worried. I love that there is a lot of space on the car for my other things. The hose also has a locking mechanism, so it doesn’t fall off the chassis and doesn’t move. This comes in handy when you’re vacuuming and you’re pulling the unit around by the hose. Overall, I think it was a good buy and meets my needs. 🙂
