The Milwaukee Straight Grinder’s coated spindle housing makes it comfortable to hold while delivering a full 11 amps of power and 14,500 RPM at a high speed. This tool is equipped with a hinged face plate with wing nut fasteners for easy wheel changes, and it can accept resinoid bond wheels up to 3 inches in diameter. It is also possible to attach wire brushes for the purpose of cleaning rust from work surfaces. When the wheel comes to a stop, an impact-absorbing tool rest is provided to allow the tool to be safely set down while the wheel is coasting. The spindle is 3/8 inch in diameter, which allows it to be used with industry standard accessories to achieve the rated diameter capacity.
