This stapler is simple to operate and to adjust. With a small air compressor set to 95 psi, I was able to drive 1.5″ staples through 7/16″ thick redwood lattice and into D. fir framing with no problems. However, there is one minor drawback: I cannot load an entire “clip” of 1.5″ narrow staples into it at once, which is a minor inconvenience. I have to cut about a third of the clip off to make it shorter so that it will fit in the slot. Although it does not support bump firing, I prefer it that way.
