This stand is specifically designed to hold our Heavy Duty Bench Grinder. It stands approximately 34-1/2 inches tall on a slant. The approximate weight of the shipment is 53 lbs.
This was purchased in order to mount my vise (Wilton 69999 Wilton Multi-Purpose Vise, Jaw Width 5-Inch, Rotating Head). It was necessary to re-drill the mounting holes in order for the vise to fit. This was the most convenient position I could find. It is strong enough to hold the vise and, thus far, all of the items I have placed in the vise with no problems. To prevent it from tipping over while being used as a vise, I recommend that you mount it to the floor.
