It looks like a lot of people have said that the pad is too thick and that the standard size of sandpaper won’t fit. The fact that that hasn’t been a problem for me doesn’t bother me. Maybe people are just doing it wrong and they don’t know it.
The process of switching this one for the original took about two minutes. When I tried to remember where I had left my little phillips screwdriver, it took me a long time.
3M “No-Slip” sheets, which you can buy at most hardware stores, don’t stick to this pad like they did with the original one, peeling off huge chunks when you change them out. This is what I like best. So that’s the main reason I had to get a new one.
