The quality, on the other hand, is simply not there. I ended up purchasing two of these for use in my company. And when they were working, they were absolutely fantastic. However, the brush mounts on both of them melted, and two of the brushes were broken in half. My initial phone call was to the company, and they directed me to a phone number that no one ever answers. It’s way, way too much money for a tool that doesn’t have any support. The tool itself is excellent, but the cast arms have begun to split on both sides. We were informed that it had been “dropped” by ExactCut. This is completely absurd. The highest point at which we’ve made a cut is 6 inches in height. The only other “drop” that could have occurred would have been from the storage bag to the floor. Because they did send us replacement pieces, I’m giving them a total of four stars. The concept receives a perfect score of 5 stars. It’s a significant investment, and I would anticipate it to be extremely durable given its high price tag. Also, replacement blades are extremely expensive; it appears that the design could have been made more cost-effective by using off-the-shelf blades rather than having everything custom-made from scratch.
