Remember when you had to make those joists smooth. Plane away chips, splinters, and wavy edges with the WEN 3.8-Amp 2-3/8-Inch Electric Hand Planer, which has a powerful motor. Perfect for fixing stubborn doors and putting wood in place. Over 32,000 cuts per minute are made by this power planer’s 3.8-amp motor, which cuts away any irregularities until the surface of your boards is aligned and smooth. This machine is great for cutting wood. If you buy a saw with a cutting width of 2-3/8 inches and a maximum cutting depth of 1/16 inch, you’ll have everything you need to cut and fit boards. Every 1/128 inch, one of the nine positive stops grows by one inch. They go from 0 to 1/16 inches. The base plate shoe even has two v-shaped grooves that make it easy to flatten and shape the corners of sharp posts. The base’s kickstand protects both the blade and the workpiece when it’s not in use. It raises the blade above the surface of your project and keeps it out of the way when you’re not cutting. The blade-change wrench that comes with the planer has a built-in storage space at the back of the machine for maximum convenience. Your WEN product comes with a two-year warranty, a customer service line, and skilled service technicians across the country. Remember when you had a planer that worked well for a long time. Remember WEN, please.

As soon as I took it out of the box, this planer was great. For the first time, I read the manual in full because I had never used a planet before. When I was done, I used it for about an hour and a half straight. I worked with some pine with ease. In any case, I noticed that it was becoming warm in my hands and took a break to read the manual and see if it warned about overheating or anything like that. As it didn’t say anything about overheating or overuse, I kept working. Soon, the motor started to stall quickly, lose power, and then start to smoke very bad. This is a great product right out of the box, and it will do well for you. When I worked on pine, I was able to blow out the motor. However, the diorama is made out of toothpicks, and I was able to do that. Don’t buy this.
