I recently bought a small battery-powered handheld vacuum for my workshop. It was so easy to use that I decided to get rid of the small shop vac that I use for projects around the house as well, because it was so easy to use.
The fact that I use Milwaukee tools for almost everything, and I have half a dozen of their batteries, made it easy for me to choose this model.
When I got this shop-vac, I was surprised to find that it was a newer model than the one on the Amazon page for it. The way the hose connects is different, and it looks like it’s a big and important change, which makes sense because the model number didn’t change.
Because this doesn’t have an electricity cord, it’s much easier to use than an electric shop vacuum. I’ve found that it’s so easy to use that I don’t even think twice about pulling it out more often.

1: Because there aren’t any attachments or cords that need to be rolled up or tucked away, it’s much easier to pack and store.
2) It’s just as powerful as the small Craftsman shop vac I used to use before this one.

The only thing that could go wrong is that it eats through batteries, but that’s not a big deal if you’re only going to use it for small projects. In the attached photos, you can see that there is plenty of room for RedLithium’s newer and bigger battery packs. I can get about 10-15 minutes of solid use out of a RedLithium XC 4.0 battery pack (found on this page).
