Note : The muffler diffuser comes with one foam installed inside and another replacement foam in the plastic tube. Before you use the muffler diffuser, please remove the replacement foam from the side. There will be less suction power if you don’t do this.

People should stay away. I thought maybe the other reviews wouldn’t apply to me. I was not right.
So this claims to be a muffler and diffuser to quiet down and reduce the air flow out. Well, it definitely reduces air flow out.. but also reduces the suction.. by A LOT! And instead of making the vac quieter, it actually makes it louder! The low tones are reduces, but passing air across the sponges increases higher tones. This is an absolute waste, and I will be returning it
