I’m a master carpenter, and I have all of the DeWalt 20v tools. I’ve used both of the other finish nailers, 15 ga and angled 16 ga, and neither of them can compare to this one, which is the best. The 15 ga is garbage, and the 16 ga isn’t much better. In general, they didn’t do very well with pine and poplar. Use this straight 16 ga to nail hard and soft woods with 2 1/2″ nails. A lot of people love it.
