There is a more expensive (+$20) version that is 1lb less.. but we’re talking 3.5 vs 2.5 lbs.. and for the typical home guy (or gal), this is fine for $20 less. I used it to disassemble some shelving (2×4’s and 2 1/2 inch screws). It worked GREAT.. 2 speeds, variable speed. I like the quick screwdriver/phillips bit that snaps on the handle.
But the key to my purchase, this battery is interchangable w/ my B&D shrub trimmer, weed whacker, blower, jig saw, LED light (though I’m not thrilled w/ that implementation), etc.. and THIS UNIT COMES W/ A BATTERY.. so I now have 3 batteries. Superb Lithium batteries.
This drill is a WINNER for home projects.
