More info about best cordless angle grinder reddit

A student about 2 months into school and I use my wire wheel and grinder every day of course, I have a cordless Milwaukee(non fuel) but grinding any longer than 3-5 minutes drains the battery and it just seems like it’s more effort than it’s worth to keep charging batteries. Also cordless feels weak Idk if it’s because of the model I have or what, Open to suggestions, Thanks in advance, stay safe out there boys!

Hiya folks, just a quick one, I’ve been eyeing up a Parkside cordless angle grinder for a few weeks now, basically Lidl’s own tool range. The bare unit plus a battery and charger would set me back ~£50 which seems decent enough for what I’m gonna be using it for in a snap home workshop with occasional light use…. But then this last weekend I came across an 18v makita drill for £60 with a charger battery and case at a flea market and obviously picked it up because I hadn’t got a cordless drill.

Corded is not a problem because there is power there, it’s not a construction site. The grinder is smaller and lighter without the battery too. Face it, the cost is so much less, 70 or 80$ and I can get a very nice corded grinder that will last the rest of my life.

I just got into the masonry trade and the company I work with does a lot of restoration. I’m looking at getting my own grinder, and am wondering what people recommend.

I’m just starting my journey into cordless tools, and, well, good tools. It’s my favorite tool, and the one tool in my kit where power really matters. If it’s even a noticable amount of power decrease, I want power.
