Arrived today, and I used it right away on the Grizzly T100010 wet grinder wheel with it. With no micro-adjuster, it has to be set by hand, but I found that to be very simple and quick. My first cut was a little too short, so I backed off right away to check the depth. It looked great. The cut was done and there was no need for a second cut. The wheel looked like it was perfectly round and flat. This is how it looked.

A simple way to make the Grizzly support work with the Tormek grinder’s micro adjuster is to cut threads with a die on one leg of the Grizzly support. Then, insert a nut into the disc for the adjustment wheel. It’s possible to figure out how much the support rises and falls in one full turn of the wheel, and then you can mark the wheel with the same number of steps.

I’m going to do this, and I’ll let you know how it goes later.

I used a UNF 1/2-20 die to cut the threads on the support leg next to the wheel. I tried to find a knurled flat nut with threads that matched, but I could only find one with coarse thread 1/2-13. You can buy the Tormek one on its own, but you’ll have to match their threads. The nut I used was a standard 1/2-20 zinc-coated hex nut. I put it in a 1.125 inch diameter disc made from 1/2 in plywood. Grizzly T100010 with micro-adjustable support: I now have one of these for the first time.
