The Framing Nailer NV90AG(S) can drive nails from 1-3/4″ to 3-1/2″ in length. It has the next generation “industrial design” from Metabo HPT, which makes it easier to work with. In general, the nailer is good. There are times when the User Manual says to tighten all the screws before you use the nail gun.
There is a plastic carousel that holds the nail coils. It looks and feels cheap to me. As soon as you pull the trigger on one of my nail guns, it moves and makes a strong sound. I have nail guns made by three different companies, and I like how they work and sound. Gun: This one isn’t very good at all.
Larry B told you not to set your outlet pressure to 70 pounds. Larry told me to use 80 pounds, but I found that the nailer worked best when I used 85 to 90 pounds on it. If your nails aren’t set right, you’ll have to play around with the depth wheel (located next to the trigger) to get them to line up.
The gauges inside the nail carousel don’t line up with the adjustable disc that you turn and set based on the length of your nails.
Last but not least, the diagrams and illustrations are very bad, too. Because it’s 2020, why would you write a user guide that didn’t include digital photos?
