When I look at it, I think the quality of the construction is very good. It doesn’t look like a cheap tool made out of plastic that looks like it. Good weight, but not too heavy to hold. There is a small base or table that holds the saw very well. It is very heavy. On the surface, you might think it’s free, but I can tell you that it’s a very useful and so far reliable accessory for this saw. Up to 45 degree angle cuts can be made thanks to the pivot that holds the saw in place on the table.
How would I learn to use a portable band saw? I’ve only used a band saw in the shop before. After you’ve tried it, it’s not too hard. As a first-timer, installing the blade can be a little difficult. Once you’re willing to handle the blade and understand that it’s meant to bend and flex around the wheels, it’s easy.
The saw does have variable speeds, which I learned that even big brands don’t always have, though. When the band saw is running with no load on it, it isn’t very noisy. The video I’m making will show that the cuts in aluminum and wood were very easy to make. This isn’t how circular saws work. But once you get used to how the saw moves, you’ll be able to hold the saw in your hands.
When it comes to quality vs. price vs. flexibility, this tool has a lot to offer. I can’t wait to use it on a few projects I have planned.

For people who are interested in TABLE MOUNTING, this is the place for you. No, it doesn’t work. At least with my version 1 saw, the Swag V4.0 portaband table does not work with my version 3. The only thing that needs to be changed is to add a “washer” to the clamping screw like the pictures above show (red knob)
