02-29-2008, 2:23 PM #2 It’s probably a PM 143, which was a wood/metal cutting version of the 141. Very solid saw, 6″ depth capacity, can’t use a riser block. If you need the wood-only capacity, it’s probably fine.
I have taken a look and saw some surface rust on guide rollers, butevertthing else looks pretty good. Powermatic is still in business so you should be able to contact them for information about spare parts. Bearings and tires can be obtained from several sources even if Powermatic doesn’t have them.
