Some of the PCP air compressors I’ve used with my friends were too noisy, too slow, too messy with oil or water, and too big and heavy. I never found one that I wanted to spend money on. As a whole, you can see why I didn’t want to pay for anything.
Finally, I found this one. The GX CS3 PCP Air Compressor, which is very powerful. It doesn’t have to deal with water or oil (it has built in fans to cool it). Some people say that they should not be too noisy (it was not, I could easily talk to someone in the same room). So it was supposed to work from my 110v house socket or from my car battery. It comes with a transformer that lets it work from 110v house current (Yes, that too worked great as it has wiring and clips to attach right to the car battery). I haven’t talked about the auto-shutoff yet. You’re right. It does have one. Everything went as planned. As quickly as possible, YES. It worked perfectly with all of the features I talked about. The craftsmanship was very good. Also, one of the best things about it is how small and light it is, which makes it very easy to move around. Easy to lift, carry, and set up with running from the house or the car.
My kids and my wife all have PCP air rifles, so I didn’t review it until I used it a lot.
I knew I was going to love it when I got it. The packaging was triple safe, which means there were three strong layers of boxes, foam, ties, staples, you name it, this thing was packed very well.
The instructions were also very good and easy to follow, and they were also very clear. Tools and small supplies came with the unit, which was a good thing because they were useful. I can keep everything together and know that I have the tools I need if I need them.
When I used it with PCP air rifles, the speed at which I could fill up the tanks was very good for its size. Much easier than all the messy, heavy ones and much easier than manual pumps, which are hard to use. Soon, I’ll be able to post some photos and a short video on my blog. I think you should go for it. I think you’ll be very happy with how easy it is to use and how light and easy it is to move around. A lot of times I don’t write long reviews, but I did this one because I and my family were having a lot of fun with our air rifle adventures.
