You would need to replace the motor or put a vfd on it for single phase. Unless the blade welder is already single phase then I could just run the vfd for the main motor and wire the welder separate. This motor in the doall is a general Electric dual volt 3/4 hp motor.
The head transformer on the unit has a wiring diagram showing 480 to 240 3phase. 04-15-2012, 05:14 PM #2. 04-15-2012, 05:20 PM #3 Those transformers I saw pictured are single phase transformers. Look at the connections to the motor drive and you should find only two legs of a three phase input power connected, again the DC drive in these saws are single phase.
