I bought this Dremel rotary tool so I could work with resin, wood, stone, and glass, among other things (jewellery making). It did what it said it would, and it came with all of its parts. Things to think about before you buy.
– It only has one speed, but it’s somewhere between fast and slow. In this case, I bought this to replace my dremel minimite 750, which had two speeds. This has a faster speed, and I would say it is closer to that speed than the slow one. Perfect for what I need, but I just wanted to mention this.
You can use this for your pet’s nails or your own, but keep in mind that because this thing is so fast, it sands down things very quickly. You have to know what you’re doing. Some of my nails got sanded down when I accidentally sanded down some of my own nails as I held some pieces to be sanded lol.
The dremel minimite is a lot quieter than this one, but it can still be used. I think it would scare any pet I’ve ever had to death with noise, so keep this in mind if your animal is afraid of noise.
– The cutting tool I got in the package broke into five small pieces when I used it. I cut two small, thin pieces of resin with it (so soft material). So, it must have been broken or something, so that’s why.
The cord is 6 feet long (as advertised).
If you’re going to use this in the United States, you should know that this is 110-120V and 50-60Hz. Because this is how it’s sold on Amazon, but the box it comes in says only 60Hz. You have to use a step down transformer anywhere that has 220V, but you can still use it!
