The DEWALT 600 Cfm Portable air mover is a tool that can be used for many different things. It has three speeds and can move air in different ways. A great tool for drying carpet or flooring. You can’t go wrong with this air mover in any shop. It’s easy to use, small, and lightweight, which makes it a good choice for drying a lot of different things.

A lot of thought has gone into the design of this room. There is a big handle even if your hands get cold. Once the fan is in your hands, it’s very easy to move and balance. If I use an uncalibrated scale, the fan weighs exactly 10 pounds, which is what the scale says.
It doesn’t move when you switch it on or off. The flush fit and smooth movement through a three-speed range makes you feel more confident. I don’t have to worry about the switch breaking like I do with a 350 CFM floor fan that isn’t as expensive.
The power cord doesn’t have a stress relief on the outside, but it doesn’t wobble and is very strong. If the connection feels safe and the power cord is strong, it might not be necessary to use a traditional stress reliever to keep it safe. There’s almost certainly something behind the case that will keep the power cord in place.
To protect the housing from being broken, we used plastics that are semi-soft. This is one of the fans I use. It’s made of hard plastic, so it probably wouldn’t be able to stand up to a fall on concrete or ceramic tile without being damaged.

This is a fan that could be used to mask the sound of tinnitus or to circulate the air in a home.
It uses a lot of power for a fan of this type, but not as much as bladed fans I’ve used before. Kill-a-watt says this takes 141 at low, 164 when it’s medium and 181 when it’s high. This is how much power it takes to run. Compared to that, I use a large Vornado that stands on the floor. It uses 41 watts at low, 46 watts at medium and 69 at high, which is a lot. Besides this DeWalt fan, I also have a commercial-grade 2000 CFM floor fan that looks just like this one. I like this fan, but it’s noisy even when it’s turned down. It uses 347 watts at low, 364 watts at medium, and 422 at high, and it’s loud even when it’s turned down. It’s a tool for cleaning up after a big event or for floating a carpet. It’s not meant to be used every day in a home. The DeWalt is a good choice in this case and at 600 CFM, it’s a good deal.
Perhaps the most important thing about the design is that it can be taken apart without too much trouble. Fans need to be cleaned at least once a year in order to keep them working well and to get the most out of their life span. Definitely, DeWalt took this into account. I can’t do this with two other floor fan/carpet dryer fans I have that are like them.
The DeWalt can do most of the things you need a residential floor fan and carpet dryer to do. Drying floors quickly, getting rid of household cleaning chemical fumes quickly, blowing out a kitchen, airing out a closet, drying furniture after a steam clean, and so on. The options are almost too many to list. Because this type of fan has a more focused and powerful air stream than traditional bladed fans, it can often do what you want faster and with more precision than traditional bladed fans can.
There is a lot of value for the money with DeWalt tools and products, and I have found them to be very durable. As with other DeWalt products, this fan has a great design and is made with high-quality materials and tools. In the short term, things are going well. As long as it’s like other products from this company, it should last for a long time.
