I’m not a “professional,” but I know a lot about how to do things on my own. I’ve used the nailer on three red oak floors. I used 2 inch nails right through the face of each one. Having poplar baseboard and door molding isn’t a problem at all. Light and easy to use. If you’re shopping for this, you might think the flip-out stud guide is weird. That’s not the case. When you’re installing baseboards, it’s so easy (again, not a “pro”). The nails are getting a lot of bad reviews from people who say they aren’t very good at this. They can’t be bought in my area, which would be bad if I were going through a couple of thousand a week. I’m not, though, so that’s not a big deal. There was another person who thought the nails were not done well. I haven’t had a jam or a nail not sticking yet.
