Because these grinders don’t last very long, this is the best one on the market. In the past, our local hardware store didn’t like taking our tools back to Makita for warranty repair. Every company makes top-of-the-line angel grinders that cost twice as much as the makita 9564cv. They die just as quickly, if not faster, and don’t grind half as smooth. First, these grinders were almost impossible to kill. In my shop, I have a pile of broken-down tools to show that a good product was lost because it was cheaper to cut corners than to make sure it was good. This is the best grinder out there today, so buy it and love it. Watch it die, then buy another. I know that I will.
