A beautiful saw with a light magnesium floor plate is what I like best about this one. In the beginning, I didn’t pay attention. The blade nut is “righty loosey, lefty tighty.” I didn’t pay attention because different saws have different right/left threads, so you have to look. I broke the blade lock. It didn’t matter that I did it. I took my new saw to a service center about an hour away. He not only fixed it for free “under warranty,” but he also talked the factory into letting them send it back to my house so I didn’t have to drive an hour each way to get it. It’s great. Oh, the saw does a great job. So I got the model with the motor on the right side, so I can see how the blade is cutting the wood as I do it. This way, I can see how the blade is cutting the wood while cutting. Another great thing to add to my Milwaukee collection.
