After I bought my first home, I’ve been using this thing almost every day to keep track of things. There are a lot of bad 90s style choices in homes that were built in that time. I’m trying to get rid of them one by one, one by one (like ugly oak veneer everywhere). Make sure you know that this model only has three strips of sandpaper on each sheet because it’s a little bigger than the other one. As other people have said, the bags on these things only pick up a small amount of the dust that they make. As a good idea on paper, it’s a little bit of a failure in the real world. So, I’m not going to give it less than 5 stars because of that. I didn’t expect that “feature” to work after doing research before I bought it. Makita makes other tools, like a drill set. I have nothing but good things to say about them. One of the best things about this sander is that it has a lock button. When you need to sand for a long time, you don’t have to keep a trigger in your hand all the time. It also lets you move your hands a little so that you can get a better grip if you really want to work on a problem area that needs a lot more grinding.
