To replace the belt you have to remove the blower housing and blower first. While you hold the belt on that pulley, hook one edge of the belt on the large pulley. Then slowly turn the pulleys while you hold the belt on the pulleys.
It is not very difficult to replace the sandpaper belt on a belt sander. While sliding the new belt, be mindful of the direction arrows printed on the belt – position the belt in a way so that the belt moves in forward direction.
