Buy DEWALT FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE 20V MAX Angle Grinder, Tool Only (DCG416B) width="280"

This means that when you use FLEXVOLT batteries with an angle grinder, you get up to 54% more power!

Kickback
The brake on a DEWALT angle grinder is strong enough to quickly stop the wheel and turn off the grinder if it gets stuck.

As soon as there is a pinch or stall, E-CLUTCH stops the DEWALT angle grinder’s motor. The motor is turned off in less than 10 seconds.

All DEWALT 20V MAX* and FLEXVOLT Batteries will work with this tool.

To restart the E-Switch Protection system after a power outage or other unexpected shutdown, you have to turn the trigger switch off and back on. This is called “cycling.”

This tool is compatible with the Tool Connect Chip DCE042. The chip pocket can be used with the Tool Connect Site Manager app, which makes it easy to keep track of your tools on the jobsite.
A separate piece of hardware called DCE042 is sold.

Take advantage of more power with our 20V MAX* brushless tools with FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE tool technology, which have more power than other tools.
The 4 1/2 Grinder has more power when it’s paired with a DCB606 FLEXVOLT battery than when it’s paired with a DCB205 20V MAX* battery.
The brushless motor can put out 1,550 watts at full power and can go up to 9,000 rpm.
This tool is part of our PERFORM & PROTECT line. It has a Kickback Brake and an E-CLUTCH System.
Batteries and chargers are not sold together.

When I do work, I cut down rebar and sheet metal with the help of a small grinder.
A grinder is a very simple tool. It only spins a cutting or grinding wheel, so it is hard to see how it could be much better.
This tool is a big improvement over old grinder technology.

Firstly, the power of this tool is very good.
If not more powerful than a lot of corded grinders, at least as powerful
Because of that, the batteries run out pretty quickly, which isn’t good for you.
If you fully charge a 2ah Dewalt battery, it will last a few minutes. A 4ah battery will last about 8 to 10.
I don’t have any flexvolt batteries, so I couldn’t test them out. Even without a flexvolt, the power is more than enough.

Safety shutoff is what really makes this tool different from all of the other grinders I have used.
The blade on a normal grinder gets stuck, and the abrasive blades start to fray, crack, and shatter right away (which happens very easily on long straight cuts, cutting anything with tension from weight such as rebar).
This tool cuts the power to the blade and it stops right away. I can’t even see it happen.
Another thing this does is make sure that things don’t fly off and hit you, which could hurt you.
That alone is worth the money.
Second, it saves the blade.
It makes the blades last a lot longer when you cut with this tool because they don’t get worn down and break often.
If you buy abrasive knives, they aren’t very expensive. I can already tell that this tool will pay for itself in less or no blades being damaged by it.

This grinder is the best thing I’ve ever used!
