I bought this drill in March 2019. Almost half way through January 2020. When I was working with an electrician, we had to drill a lot of holes in the ground. I bought it then. I was tired of borrowing things when I bought this. Shortly after I bought it, I changed jobs and became a lineman for a broadband company. That’s when I really started to abuse this drill. In the rain: a few times, it was submerged for 12 hours, dropped 40ft in the air on hard dirt. It has been thrown around and stepped on. It was also dropped 40ft in the air and hit the ground hard. It can take a lot of abuse for a while. The bad news is that I just recently broke it. The drill still works, but only when it’s turned around. There is a weakness in the handle. After some time, it will start to flex on high-torque drilling. Before long, it will move and break the switch that lets you change direction. I think you should keep this at home because it can do just about anything you need it to, but it isn’t long-lasting enough for long-term industrial work. For the money I paid for it, I’m very happy and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a good personal drill. ****UPDATE***. They sent me a new one in the mail after I called them and told them it had broken. Customer service was great.
