Each drill drum sander attachment bit has a 1-inch (2.54 cm) long steel shank that fits 1/4-inch (.64 cm) tools. With your rotary tools, like drill presses, spindle sanders, hand drills, or flexible shaft attachments, this is the best tool for you to use with this. Drill the shank into your tool and slip the correct-sized sanding band over the mandrel. Then, you can start using your tool right away.

The bad news is that this product doesn’t last very long. Sand paper sleeves only come in one size. After you use one, you can’t wear the other sleeves. Because of the rubber mallet that holds the sand paper, it looks like it’s getting bigger. Those unused sand paper sleeves can’t be used, so I have to get rid of them. With the small mallet, I only used it for about 5 minutes before the metal that holds it in the drill started to break and then break again. There was no metal left to insert into the drill bit area. When I can’t use the product because it doesn’t stay in place in the drill or even attach, it doesn’t matter how strong the paper is. It’s not good.
