Several of my power tools are now made by the Hychika brand. Their power tools are very good and well made. I bought this battery-powered impact wrench because I changed my brakes on my own and I have to take the wheels off of all three of my family cars. In the past, I’ve had other impact wrenches that didn’t work well with lug nuts that had been torqued on. Always, I’d have to break the connection by hand, then use the impact to remove the lug, and then use it to put the lug nut back on. But I would have to do it myself with a torque wrench. To show that this thing can remove a torque lug nut from a wheel, I made this video. You can see it here. A lug nut came off before I made this video. Really, I was shocked when it took the first one off. You can see that in the video, at first, the lug nut isn’t coming off. It was spinning the wrong way. So I was actually tightening the lug nut up even more before I took it off, right. This broke the connection on the lug nut and spun it off very quickly. So that I was concerned that it wasn’t going to be tight enough so I checked it with a torque wrench and I was easily at the 110 ft pounds of torque that I needed. This impact wrench is just so great. If you break or tighten a connection, you need to make sure that the unit doesn’t fall over when you do. So far, I’ve used a power drill, a chainsaw, a leaf blower, and now this impact wrench made by this company, which I like. Those tools have all impressed me with how well they were made and how well they worked. I’ve been very impressed. One more great example of that is the impact wrench that we have here.
