Don’t ask me how I know, but the primer lines can get mixed up! If it will start, it will run like you said, but sucking the gas through the carb on a cold start is another matter all together. If I want to mess with someone, I’ll ask them to start the Poulan. My 2100 will usually start one pull warm nearly every time.
