The DCF898B 20V MAX* XR Brushless High Torque 7/16-inch Impact Wrench with Quick Release has a lot of power and is very easy to use. Chuck is very powerful and can be used for a lot of different things. Comfort, speed control, and working in dark places are some of the features of the DEWALT impact wrench.
The tool had a lot of power while it worked. In my linework, I use this tool. I love that I can work with it even when I am wearing gloves or sleeves. Never had a problem with the forward and reverse switch getting stuck in lockout, always fastened hardware down quickly, and drilled holes quickly for a battery tool while flying. All the while, the plane was easy to move around in the air.
We’re now at the “had. During one week, I was working with the impact. I left it in the trunk of my car until the next week, when I went to use it with a fully charged battery. It didn’t work at all, wouldn’t impact, and I stuck a drill bit in a pole. There was still nothing when I tried a few batteries that were fully charged. It couldn’t even be used to tighten down hardware, because it was so weak. This is a big deal because the tool is supposed to be made in the United States. I would have hoped for a better, longer-lasting tool than how this turned out.
I bought the impact in December of last year and haven’t had a problem until now, when I bought it.
