This Benchtop Combo sander has all the power and control you need to sand small parts. The small size is perfect for the workshop. The strong cast-iron base and a wide range of belt and disc options mean that your smaller projects will look great when they’re done.
It came from USPS and I used it right away. Easy to set up. Easy to use than the one from Harbor Freight. In my opinion, this one is a better choice and is a good price. 80 grit cloth and 6in disc came with it. I tried it out. If too much pressure is put on the belt, it will slow down. I had to put a lot of pressure on it before it started to slow down. I don’t like the one from Harbor Freight. Even small amounts of pressure will make it slow down. This one isn’t like that.
The 6in disc platform is made of aluminum and isn’t very strong. It’s almost at 90 degrees to the disc, but you’ll have to check if you want a full 90. The miter gage is made of plastic, and the measurement marks are on a sticker that comes with the tool. If you need to sand very carefully, the miter gage isn’t going to come in very handy.
The dust collector is on the back of the car. I don’t use it, but it’s a good thing for people who want a vacuum system.
No matter what kind of hobby you have, I think this is a good choice for you. If you need a lot of power and are going to do a lot of sanding, this is not the machine for you.
