I’ll say that I’ve used Milwaukee hole saws for about 20 years. I have a virtual graveyard of them because I only use them for 3 to 6 months before I have to rebuild the gears. Because I was skeptical, I bought the DeWalt to see if it worked. I’ve had the drill about a month now and it out performs the Milwaukee in every aspect. My drills are put to the test when I rough in plumbing in about 50 homes a year. In my opinion, the DeWalt doesn’t seem to get as hot as the Milwaukee when it’s used for a long time. Even though it draws more amps, my generator doesn’t seem to run out of power as quickly as the hole hawgs do. If it lasts, I’ll let you know in a few days.

Variable speed an.

More power.

2 1/2″ – 3 1/2″ holes all day and all nigh.

Well it’s now been over a year of hard use and this drill is still going strong! DeWalt is winning me back as a customer. I will never go back to Milwaukee
