Okay, so this is a very important kit. In terms of weight, the battery with 8ah has a lot. My guess is that it will work out. The saw isn’t a toy from the dollar store, either. In terms of weight, it’s almost as heavy as a corded 7 1/4 “A saw; add the battery, and it almost weighs as much as my Dewalt worm gear saw, which is a lot more powerful than this. My first cuts were 2x4s and 1/2s “plywood, but I can say that it’s smooth, accurate, and powerful, and it’s made of wood. None of this bothers me.
