The angle grinder’s brushless motor doesn’t need to be changed at all.
When the DEWALT grinder is running, the brake on the wheel usually stops the wheel in 2 seconds or less on most of the time.
When the ON/OFF trigger switch doesn’t work, it can be reset. An unexpected power outage or shut down of the tool will make the trigger switch need to be cycled (turned off and then back on) to restart it.
Two steps are needed to start a tool with a two stage trigger.
This small cordless angle grinder has a brushless motor that lasts longer and doesn’t need to be changed out with new ones. In about two seconds or less, the DEWALT cordless grinder’s wheel comes to a stop. If there’s a pinch, stall, or bind-up, its Kickback Break will use the most force to stop the wheel. It will then turn itself off for even more protection.
There isn’t as much head space as with a normal angle grinder. Gets into tight places well. It had the same great kickback brake as the standard 20v xr 20v xr one did. This one really surprised me with how they made the removable guard, which is what really surprised me. To put on and take off the guard on this grinder, you don’t have to take off the disc. Even though the first reason to use a flathead is usually because you need to get into small places.
