Because the saw comes with a blade for wood, this is great.
Because the keyless bladelock mechanism will lose some of its spring-tension, you don’t want to buy any U-shank blades for this saw. This will make the B&D U-shank blade multipack useless, especially the metal cutting blades.
Locking mechanism: The T-shank blades are held in place by the bladelock mechanism, but the U-Shank blades are only held in place by the tension. They never actually lock into place, though.
