In the beginning, the drill seemed strong enough. After 9 months of use, the chuck doesn’t hold either a drill bit or a driver bit in place. After you drill a hole or drive a screw, you have to be ready for the bit to fall out. It doesn’t matter how tight you make it. I have lost a lot of both types of things because they fell into places that were hard to get to. What they thought was a good tool has turned into a nightmare and one that they don’t stand behind.
To prove that the chuck doesn’t hold bits securely, I called customer service. This is an insult and hard to do because the bits don’t fall out every time. A drill/driver in use is also very hard to show with one hand while trying to keep a phone focused on the drill. So customer service doesn’t help at all.
It’s possible to find better tools. Don’t waste money. If you use this tool, you will only be disappointed if you do it.
