The 2-Finger Variable Speed Trigger gives you more control.

Style:7.5 Amp Corded Dril.

In order to get the job done, you need to use an SKIL 7.5A 1/2″ corded drill. When you have high torque and can change the speed from 0 to 950 RPM, you can do any job. The heavy-duty 1/2″ keyed chuck is built to last in tough situations. A side-assist handle makes it safer and easier to use, and a horizontal bubble level makes it easier to drill accurately.

To use with a 6″ hole saw, I bought this. My cordless could do the job, but it was so hard on it that it became very hot. Also, when you’re drilling with a hole saw, it can sometimes grab and try to take the drill out of your hands, so it was important to get a drill with a side helper.

This means that the side helper handle is not well attached to the drill. When it’s loose, you can feel that there are places on the drill where it fits very well. Even though I pick one of these places, when that saw grabs and jerks the drill to the side, the helper handle falls. I’ve made it as tight as I feel comfortable with. A plastic thing. I know I’m stronger than plastic, so I don’t want to get hurt by it. I could keep tightening it, but I know it’s going to break or strip, and then it won’t work. So it’s just a flaw I have to live with. If I’d spent twice as much on the drill, I’d probably send it back. But because I only use it a few times a year, I can’t justify the price of a DeWalt.

Another thing I’d like to point out is that the drill isn’t balanced to be used with just one hand. This isn’t a problem with the drill, but it’s important to know if this is your first two-handed drill to know. Because it’s so heavy in the front, you’d have to hold it with one hand to shoot a rifle. Doable, but a lot of work.
