Buy LittleMachineShop.com Belt Drive Conversion Kit for Mini Mill (2560)

This means no more broken drive gears.

Much quieter operation now.

It can go up to 4300 RPM.

Ideal for both manual and CNC small mills.

This belt drive conversion kit is an easy way to get rid of the noisy and fragile gears that drive the spindle on the mini mill.

This kit is made by a machine called a CNC. It is made of the best materials. A full-time machine is built to last. When you buy a belt drive for your CNC machine, you get one.

Change speeds without having to use tools. Just take off the guard, loosen the lever locks, and move the belt from one set of pulleys to another. 0-1700 RPM is the low speed range. The range of high speed is from 0 to 4300 RPM.

The bolt-on installation takes about 20 minutes and is very simple.

The small pulley has a bore of 9 mm and a keyway of 3 mm, so it’s very small. The large pulley has a 30 mm bore and a 5 mm keyway. This means that it has a lot of space. These values are for the shafts. If your shafts don’t match these values, this belt drive will not work with your mill.

There isn’t much to say about me. I’m not happy and I’m not impressed. People didn’t return it because I need to use the mill.

The length of the bolts in the kit were not shown, and I was told not to use them on the motor. I thought my leg was being pulled. But when the bolts were fired into the motor without having to push them, the plate was loose, which meant the bolts were too long. Force these to tighten, and you could damage the ends of the screws, which would make it hard to remove them later. They could also damage the threads in the motor when they come out.

To save money, the parts were made from the thinnest stock possible. Angry about the mounting plate, I have to go back to the piece of round stock with a handle that came with my mill when it was new.

No one tried to do what I would call “finish work.” The mill finish was on every part. If these were made in my shop, the main parts would have been ground on both sides by a shell mill. They would also have been thrown in the media tumbler.
