This tool is good for what it does. It’s more like a toy because of the things it can’t do. This brake could be perfect for what you’re making, or it could be useless. It can only be used to make boxes and channels that are less than 1″ thick. As a result, you can only bend the two short sides and have to weld on the other long side because of the shape of the breaking dies. Let’s say you’re making the magazine for a 22 rifle.
I’ve already tried to make like five or six small boxes, but none of them fit in my vice or the brake or could be bent properly.

Honestly, I still gave it a good rating because it’s very well made: it’s very well made, it’s very precise, it’s durable, it’s finished well, it has a great case, and it has great magnets. I appreciate how hard it is to make something this good off-shore or even at home sometimes, and I can’t wait to try other KAKA tools.
Bad news: If you already have a very big vice that can fit this brake, you have everything else you need to bend 90% of the metals this machine can.
