The F50 has 5 degrees of oscillation, which makes it cut faster than any other saw on the market. It has a powerful 4.0 amp motor, so it won’t slow down under a lot of weight.
Hyperlock is a tool-free blade change system that provides 1 ton of clamping force. This means that the blade won’t slip, no matter what angle it is at.
There’s a speed dial that can go from 11,000 to 20,000 oscillations per minute.
In order to cut smoothly, you need a counterweight that doesn’t move as much as you do.
Universal Fit System works with all major brands of blades, sanders, and other tools.
There are 33 pieces in this 33-piece kit that comes with a case. The Rockwell RK5142K 4.0-Amp Sonicrafter F50 Oscillating Multi-Tool has variable speed, Hyperlock clamping, Vibrafree Technology, and Universal Fit System.
I’ve used a Fein multimaster, a Harbor Freight multimaster, a cordless multimaster, and two corded Ridgids that didn’t last more than a week. I didn’t expect Fein tool power in anything but a Fein, but this thing really surprised me. I think it is more powerful than Fein. At least it looked like it was cutting faster. Longevity and durability aren’t things I can yet say about. As a side note, I’ve been a flooring contractor since 1999, and I know a lot about the tools I use. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a powerful but cheap Fein Tool.
