I was excited to get this so I could try it out. The tool had a long cord that got to the work area very well. I put one of my own blades on the tool to see how it worked. I had a problem with the tool cutting. It turns out that it can cut wood and “soft metal,” and that the screws in the wall are made of hardened steel. When I put in a “bimetal” blade, I was ready to go, and the multitool worked quickly to cut the spikes that were sticking out of the ground quickly.
On the flat part of the interface used to line up the blade, there are less bumps than on my older multitool. There are four bumps in total. Doesn’t seem to make a difference in how well the blade is aligned. When you buy this kind of knife, there are two separate parts: a screw and a flange to hold the blade. This is not the case with other types of knives. These should be combined so it’s easier for people to keep track of both at the same time, I think. Buyers may also want to get a set of more blades because this tool comes with only five types.
