In about a half year, my wife gave me this mixer as a birthday gift. But I didn’t start using it until about two months ago.
When I mixed lime wash, it worked great. I also used it to mix joint compound, which worked great, too (did not work well).
Maybe after a few simple joint compound-mixing projects with a simple tool, the tool broke.
On the picture, it might look like I didn’t take good care of the tool. The rust happened after it broke, and I left it outside in anger.
It’s not good to mix lime wash with anything that isn’t easy to clean.

Which is pretty funny. It doesn’t help that they have a line of better, more expensive products. This is a piece of junk, and it doesn’t look like it has a warranty.
