This table saw has been with me for 15 years. It was a surprise that it worked. But there were so many little problems that it was time to get new things. A lot of my other Dewalt 20 and 60 volt tools are still there, and now my wife and I live completely off the grid. The saw is only one month old. So it’s hard to say how long his review will last. But I’ve used it on a few jobs, and it’s done great. The battery lasts longer than I thought it would. This is likely because the blade is only 8.5 inches long. The stop feature is also very easy to use, which helps to extend the battery life. Plus 1/16 of an inch, the on-board tape measure is accurate.
Because it costs so much, I think it should have some kind of simple stand or folding legs. But I’m just being picky. One of the $200 rolling stands can be bought. There are also cheaper, off-brand stands that aren’t made by the same company.
A 120-volt tool with two 60-watt batteries would have been nice. It would have been like the 12-inch Dewalt miter saw.
At the end of the day, this is a pricey thing. That’s not true, though. So far, it has been worth it.
