The Milwaukee 49-16-2560 tool boot is only for use with the Milwaukee M12 FUELTM 3/8 in. Extended reach ratchet (2560-20) and not with any other tool. This product is meant to protect both the tool and the work surface. It is lightweight and durable, and it is meant to keep both safe. A rubber design that is long-lasting will be able to withstand the corrosive materials that are common in maintenance jobs. It’s not safe to use on or near live electricity. To use it on anything else could damage the tool motor and void the tool’s warranty.
In my 3/8″ Milwaukee M12 Electric Ratchet, it did not work with this tool. Bunched against the 3/8″ tool mount. Just not the right kind of ratchet for me.
