Rolaid Compressors have a long history of making high-quality compressors for professional contractors. They have been making compressors for over 45 years. They want to keep up this tradition by analyzing and adapting to the changing needs and strict requirements of the industry. It is very difficult for Rolaid to make sure that the compressors they sell are safe. They do this both in the factory and out in the field. Each piece of equipment is checked by the factory before it is sent out. It is checked for amp draw, voltage, compression, working pressure levels, RPM on gas models, and air leaks before it is sent out. If you buy a Rolaid compressor at a store, you get a one-year or 18-month warranty against manufacturer defects. Whichever comes first.

Shipment came quickly, and the package was good. I didn’t like the first one. I called Rolair and told them what was wrong, and they started working right away to get me a new one because I needed it right away, so they did that right away. The next day, I got an email with the address of a local building supply store where I could pick up a brand new compressor that was still in the box. The second one has been very good. I am a home remodeler and improvement contractor, and I use my compressor almost every day. I expect a lot from it.

The FC2002 has done a great job. I went with a Rolair because they are known for being good at what they do. Their customer service turned out to be very good. Fast, professional, and very polite. If you run a lot of nailers at the same time, there haven’t been any problems with how well it works yet. “Bull” is a good name for this thing because it’s made well and it looks like one.

One thing I don’t like is that the air filter case is very fragile if it’s hit from the side. You can easily snap it off of the back of the plastic case. The plastic threaded nipple can be found in the side of the cylinder head, and it can be easily snapped off, leaving the threaded nipple there. My boss always reminds them to be careful when they move it or wrap the power cord.

Second, it’s big. In the field, I bought this to be my “bigger” compressor and also use smaller pancake compressors that are easier to use in customer homes, smaller jobs, and so on, because they are easier to move around. Weighing a lot isn’t a bad thing or a flaw. It was just something I wanted to think about. A professional-grade compressor is made to do a lot of work and last a long time, like this on. Is it really the “Bull”.

There are only a few things I don’t like about the compressor or the company that backs it. A good compressor and good customer service make this a great deal. There is no doubt in my mind that I would buy a Rolair again without a second thought.
